Our Mission

Digital accessibility compliance deserves better tooling.

Over 1 billion people globally live with a disability. Yet 96% of the world's top websites still fail basic accessibility standards — and procurement teams face mounting legal, accessibility and security exposures every single day. Inclusive Digital exists to change that, with purpose-built evaluators for both VPAT® and HECVAT documents.

The problem we solve

Organizations are exposed and most don't know it.

A procurement officer is handed a 40-page VPAT and a 200-question HECVAT, no accessibility or security specialist on staff, and a contract to sign by Friday. A legal team is fielding ADA lawsuits and data breach inquiries with no audit trail and no documented due diligence. An end user with a disability is relying on a product that turns out to be inaccessible.

Manual VPAT and HECVAT review requires specialist knowledge most teams don't have, takes 1–3 hours per document, and produces no consistent, comparable output. Two analysts reviewing the same document will reach different conclusions every time. And because both are vendor-submitted and self-reported, inflated claims routinely go unchallenged.

The result: legal and security exposure from ADA lawsuits, DOJ investigations, OCR complaints, and inadequately vetted vendors — with no documented defensibility.

1–3 hours per doc

Manual VPAT and HECVAT reviews requires specialist knowledge most procurement teams don't have.

No standardized scoring

Two analysts reviewing the same VPAT or HECVAT will reach different conclusions every time.

Self-reported claims

Inflated vendor accessibility and security claims go routinely unchallenged without systematic review.

Legal and security exposure

ADA lawsuits, DOJ investigations, OCR complaints, and data breaches from vendors you procured.

No audit trail

No documented accessibility or security due diligence for compliance defensibility.

A question we get a lot

Why not just use ChatGPT?

General-purpose AI tools are impressive — but they're not built for procurement due diligence. Here's what separates our VPAT and HECVAT Evaluators from uploading a document into a chatbot.

General AI has no domain model

Tools like ChatGPT or Claude can summarise a VPAT or HECVAT in plain English — but they have no concept of WCAG criterion weights, conformance hierarchies, HECVAT control categories, or which failures carry the most risk for real users.

No two prompts give the same answer

Ask a general AI to score a VPAT or HECVAT twice and you'll get two different results. That's fine for a quick summary, but it's disqualifying for procurement due diligence. Our rules-based engine is fully deterministic: identical inputs always produce identical outputs.

General AI takes vendor claims at face value

VPATs and HECVATs are both self-reported. Inflated conformance ratings and unsubstantiated security claims are extremely common. A general AI will read and repeat those claims. Our quality assessment layer evaluates completeness, plausibility, and evidence coverage — flagging documents where the evidence doesn't support the claims.

No standardized score means no procurement decision

A prose summary from a chatbot doesn't tell a procurement officer the real risks. Our 0–100 scores — Accessibility Risk Score for VPATs, Risk Score for HECVATs — mapped directly to a risk tier and concrete next steps: remediation requests, contract language, escalation to legal, or procurement approval.

No audit trail

When a DOJ investigation, ADA complaint, or data breach inquiry arrives, "we asked ChatGPT" is not a defense. Our evaluator tools produce structured, timestamped evaluation reports that document your due diligence — the methodology, the inputs, the score, and the actions taken.

Built for procurement workflows, not chat

Our tools are designed around how procurement teams actually work: upload a document, get a score, download a report, save for audit trail, move to the next vendor. No prompt engineering. No hallucinations to second-guess. No specialist expertise required.
